The back side of the Rock Creek Lake Dam, north of Auburn, CA. This is a long, low dam made up of 30 or so of these concave sections.

Impressive construction ! I regret there's no panoramic view of this dam (perhaps later ?), for I can't figure what it really lokks like.

Thank you for this additional link to a panoramic view of this dam. I can figure it now ! I couldn't imagine it was deep, and in fact it's not deep.
